The first event, at 2pm,  will see around 80 pupils from two year groups at Swinton Fitzwilliam Primary School adding their voices when lights on the two Christmas trees on Swinton Civic Hall are switched on, while the traditional Christmas tree on the Woodman roundabout will be lit up from 3pm, courtesy of Willmott Dixon and Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust.

Swinton councillor Ken Wyatt said: “It will be absolutely fantastic to see the Christmas traditions in Swinton continued and I am sure local residents will really appreciate all the time and effort made by all parties in this.”
