Member charities can also enter the Charity of the Year Award with the winner receiving a cash prize as a donation towards a chosen project, initiative or need – as well as becoming the Chamber’s Charity of the Year.

The Roy Hatfield Business of the Year trophy will be presented to one outstanding performer of the awards evening.

Entries can be submitted online and the full category criteria can be downloaded from www.brawards.co.uk.

Andrew Denniff, chief executive of Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, said: “We have already received some terrific entries and I would encourage any company out there to tell us why they deserve to be a winner.
