Frecklington happy to get deal done

LEE Frecklington just wants to concentrate on his football now he has signed a new deal with Rotherham United.

He's put pen to paper on a contract extension until the summer of 2017 and the 29-year-old, who famously slotted the goal against Aldershot that sealed promotion to League One,wants to add to his 101 appearances.

He said: “To get the deal done to commit myself to another couple of years, hopefully a successful couple of years, I'm very pleased. Getting it done early is very important because I can just concentrate purely on football and hopefully put in the performances to make the supporters happy.”
