Bomb squad called after Tinsley shell find
BOMB disposal experts were called in after workmen discovered an unidentified item in Tinsley.
Roads were closed and residents evacuated while an investigation took place last Friday morning (18).
A police spokesman said: “The Explosive Ordnance Disposal attended and the item was found to be a training shell, which had been underground for some time.”
