Open day for cadets

YOUNG air cadets are holding an open day next week in a bid to show potential new recruits that the sky is the limit.

Rotherham Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets will welcome visitors to the Drill Hall at the McKay VC Barracks on Fitzwilliam Road from 7.30pm to 8.30pm on Monday.

The Air Cadets Corp is a uniformed youth organisation for girls aged 11 to 18 offering weekly meetings, fun activities and great opportunities.
