Teen club night marks milestone

A POPULAR under-18s club night celebrates its 15th birthday next week.

Lush Clubbing first started puttinmg on parties for Rotherham teenagers back in 1998 and will mark its latest milestone at Pop next Thursday.

All profits from the event will go to Rotherham runaways charity SAFE@LAST and those attending are promised “a crazy night with the Lush resident DJs, crazy competitions, giveaways and special guests.”

Lush Event Manager Faris Fisher said: “We have enjoyed some good times in Rotherham, its nice to give something back.

“We chose SAFE@LAST because they are looking after teenagers in our region and we know any money raised will make a big difference.”

Clare Sherratt from SAFE@LAST said: “We’re very grateful to Lush for choosing to support SAFE@LAST through funds raised at their birthday event.  

“The funds will help us to continue to provide our essential services for young people in Rotherham and across South Yorkshire.  

“We’re sure it will be a fun night for everyone."     

Admission to the party next week, which runs from 7pm to 10pm, is £7 or £3 if you get on the guestlist by messaging Alex Lush (clubbing coordinator) on Facebook.
