Rotherham buildings rated ‘excellent’

SEVERAL new buildings across Rotherham, including houses and a school, have been acclaimed in a regional building excellence awards.

Both old and new developments across the borough as well as a refurbished primary school, were all successful in this year's South Yorkshire and Humber Building Excellence Awards 2014.

The Wentworth Grange housing development in Manvers; a new bespoke detached house in Treeton; the Brooklands Croft housing development in Wales; a newly-restored cottage in Lindrick Dale and the extended and refurbished Wath C of E Primary School, all featured in the awards, which recognise building excellence during the year.
