Rotherham speed cameras
MOBILE speed cameras will be operated at roadside locations across the borough next week as part of an ongoing effort to cut casualties.
Officers from the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will use the devices in their fight to improve road safety by cutting speed for a week starting on Monday (1).
Among the locations subject to patrols are: Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley; Wortley Road, Kimberworth; Bawtry Road, Wickersley; Rotherham Road, Maltby; Station Road, Kiveton Park; and Wales Road, Kiveton Park.
The other roads subject to patrols are: Doncaster Road, Wath; Grange Lane, Maltby; Middle Lane South, Herringthorpe; Pontefract Road, Brampton; Vale Road, Thrybergh; and Worksop Road, Aston.
