Drug tragedy teenager identified

POLICE have named a teenager who died in the street of a suspected drug overdose as Liam David Gill.

A spokesman added that officers have also arrested six people in connection with the death.

The six, a 45-year-old woman and five males aged between 15 and 39 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and released on bail pending further enquiries.

Liam, of Craggs Road in Denaby Main, was found shortly before 8pm on Saturday evening, having collapsed on Wadworth Road.

Paramedics took Liam to Doncaster Royal Infirmary but he died around an hour later.
