BRINSWORTH MANOR INFANT AND NURSERY SCHOOL: Poppies will be on sale in the hall in the run up to Remembrance Sunday and on November 8 the youngsters are invited to the parish council’s Remembrance Day celebrations at St George’s churchyard. Last year around 20 children attended along with staff from the school. Y2 children will be doing school work about the world wars and the significance of poppies. The school has a new website www.brinsworthmanorinfants.co.uk and all the term’s newsletters and school policies can be found there. Children are doing work on e-safety and keeping safe on the internet. Posters are up around the school and other information is available for parents and carers. A meeting will also be held about how carers can help keep their child safe online.
