Local builder donates PE kit to Wickersley Northfield Primary School

PRIMARY school pupils have been gifted new sports t-shirts by a housebuilder.

Wickersley Northfield Primary School now have 30 new tops to use for matches and competitions thanks to sponsorship from Redrow.

“We are so happy with our new sports tops,” said Beth Proctor, PE lead.

“The pupils now have suitable kit when representing the school at various sporting events locally.”

Steve Jackon, sales director at Redrow Yorkshire, said: “We are very pleased to have been able to help with this purchase of new sports tops for the school.

“We are committed to offering support to the communities we work in and wish the teams the best of luck at future events.”

Redrow is currently building new homes at Poppy Fields, located off Moor Lane South.

A competition was recently held with pupils from Bramley Grange Primary School and Ravenfield Primary Academy, naming the streets at the new development in Bramley.

Winning street names included Falcon Road, Dandelion Avenue, and Bloom Gardens.
