Children at Ravenfield Primary make sweet music

PUPILS had fun galore mixing electronics and fruit to make sweet music.
Year 4 and 5 children at Ravenfield Primary Academy enjoyed a hi-tech workshop involving making fruit and veg into musical instruments, as well as sculpting them and learning about health and wellbeing.
The unusual activities were provided by London-based Conductive Music for free and the fruit and veg were donated by Morrison’s in Bramley.
Sam Trout, business manager at the school on Moor Lane Road, Ravenfield, said that 58 pupils took part.
She said: “It was a really good session and we were happy to have done it.”
