More than a hundred roles available at Meadowhall Jobs Fair next week
Flannels, JD Sports and Nando’s will join many other retailers at Meadowhall’s annual jobs fair next week.
Taking place on Tuesday 30th September and Wednesday 1st October between 10am – 7pm, more than 100 full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles will be available in retail and hospitality, as well as supporting roles for the centre itself.
The jobs fair will take place on the upper level of the Oasis Dining Quarter – with more than 30 retailers set to have representatives to discuss the opportunities as well as provide further information and helpful advice for potential applicants.

The latest data from the Labour Force Survey shows that Yorkshire’s overall unemployment rate for those aged 16 and over rose to around 4.8% in May–July 20251 from 3.4% in 20232. Therefore, events like the Meadowhall Jobs Fair are more important than ever in helping to provide opportunities for young people across the region.
Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “It’s fantastic to see such a strong line-up of retailers at this year’s Jobs Fair, all offering a wide range of exciting roles.
“We know that taking the first step into work, re-entering the workforce or even making a career change, can feel daunting, which is why we’re committed to supporting people throughout our community. Events like this help build confidence, offer guidance, and make those next steps towards employment feel more accessible.
“With recruitment still a challenge across many sectors, it’s also a great opportunity for employers to connect with new talent and invest in their future teams.
“We’ encourage anyone exploring their next move – whether it’s finding a job, getting advice, or simply seeing what’s available – to come along and speak with the many retailers taking part.”
