Sir-- I sustained a very heavy fall on to the cinder track, while walking our dog in Canklow Woods.
May I say a huge thankyou to everyone who rushed to my aid, dog walkers Pat, David, Les and Patrick, the three paramedics and the fantastic A & E team, where I spent six hours.
If it had not been for the common sense of the dog walkers, from the very moment of my accident, my neck injury could have been so much more serious.
Thanks also for the numerous calls, cards and kind enquiries we have received. It proves that Rotherham really an ace place to live!
