Thank you from a retiring runner!

A successful collection totalling £696 was carried out at Morrison's, Bramley on Sep 11, 2010

. I was aided by Rotarians of Rotherham Club and helped towards my grand total of over £1000. This was to sponsor my running/walking the Great North Run on Sep 19th. The money was split between two charities - The Prostate Cancer Charity and Prostate Cancer UK.

This Half Marathon is definitely my last over the distance of 13.1 miles. The training schedules for an overweight, 69-year-old are too time consuming.

I am extremely grateful to Morrisons, the public who gave, members of Rotherham Rotary Club and my wife Phil.
