Spring clean brought us together
Sir -- On Saturday I was part of a group of Christians and Muslims from Rotherham who spent a couple of hours together collecting litter along the canal.
Most of us didn’t know each other before but because we had something worthwhile to do together we didn’t feel shy.
We all just wanted Rotherham to be clean for Spring. We had a good time, made new friends and felt very virtuous when we saw how many bags we’d filled!
It would have been lovely if there were more of us but it seemed special anyway. Lets do more of those type of things in Rotherham.
