Running to help autistic kids

Sir, On the 8th August 2010 i shall be doing a sponsored fun run for The National Autistic Society at Rother Valley Country Park, Sheffield.

I would like to drum up as much support as possible for this charity and make as much money as possible as it is a charity that is close to my heart. My brother and his partner took in twins on an emergency placement through the fostering agency, on December 22 2008. The twins have a wide range of disabilities, one of which is autism.

I myself have witnessed how not understanding autism can affect peoples lives.

The National Autistic Society provides help and support to people at times of struggle and help them to understand about autism.

As you're probably aware, the National Autistic Aociety is a voluntary organisation that runs purely on donations.  Without them I feel that a lot of families would still be struggling.

I, along with my brother and his husband, shall be running in this event to provide much needed funds and also to bring awareness and understanding to the community we live in. I have been to local businesses, local people and my local school who have supported me greatly.

Yours, Kelly Hall.
