More help needed for special needs kids

Sir--Are junior schools doing enough to help SEN children?

The sad answer is a resounding NO. My child attended Lliy Hall Junior School and somehow they managed to miss completely the fact that she had severe dyspraxia and ASD which was diagnosed during year 8-year 9.

I did write to the school expressing my concern and hoping to make sure this did not happen to any other child but, as you can expect, they say they did everything right and apparently the matter is closed.

They seemed more offended that i had actually complained to them.

I understand that money is limited and choices have to be made either incure cost to assess a child or buy a new football /netball kit [choices choices].

For an educational establishment they appear incapable of learning! or even saying sorry you feel let down.
