LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Town let down by RMBC

Just like at Rotherham show and at the skate festival they were ignored in favour of caterers and bars brought in from elsewhere.

Is it easier for the council to do that and to ignore and penalise the businesses that ply their trade here week in, week in?

Is it because, as other people have said on the letters pages of these papers, they don’t want to have to deal with local business? It’s just another hassle. Is it laziness or just an I’m all right Jack and I don’t care about the rest of you attitude from those on the council?

I think it’s a combination. Why would they care when they can pick up their insulting to the rest of us astronomical salaries for what basically amounts to failure?

I include the councillors, particularly the leader, and the executives in this, by the way.
