LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Town falling apart
I NEARLY fell off my chair when I read that Rotherham had won the accolade of most improved council.
Then again, it’s no surprise. Awards in all industries are generally given by people who don’t exactly have their ears to the ground.
The town centre is falling apart, the roads are a mess, half the buildings are derelict and deliberately left to rot so they can be knocked down and the expensive Riverside building is half empty.
Oh, I forgot, they’ll be “working from home”.
