LETTER TO THE EDITOR: No-one knew what was going on in Rotherham town centre.

Also in the square in front of the  church a skateboard area was set up.

Now come on, why would you  (events manager) do it on a Thursday  afternoon? Why not on a Friday teatime, or better still Saturday afternoon when more young people are  about.

I speak to a lot of younger people and not one person knew about what was going on. Shopkeepers etc didn’t know either.

I know you can’t please everyone, but stop working from home and actually talk to people.

I did not see one council official  anywhere, so come on events manager get a grip. Thursday? Good God man.
