LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Little integrity left in football

I DO not know why there is a worry about integrity in football. There is very little  to show from the sweet FA, The EFL and the Premier League. And do not forget UEFA who only act properly if they are forced to.

The sweet FA will take almost anyone as a fit and proper person providing they have the readies. They only cancelled the Russian TV contract because they would have looked very dodgy otherwise.

The Premiership want to change the rules. It’s not enough they stifled lesser clubs striving to make the top six and go above these clubs who think they own the top six.

Now they want to stop Newcastle by fair means or mostly foul. They are a nasty cartel. The HR politics does not matter to them. It’s all about the greed and money.

And why are clubs in the EFL threatening to take clubs like Derby to court even though there is little or no basis?

The fact is Derby may go to the wall because of the over the top points deductions and treatment by the sweet FA. Chelsea might have done as well if they had the full embargo on that club as well.

Both Chris Kirchner and Mike Ashley are shady looking businessmen and Ashley ruined Newcastle. He only wanted it so he could sell sports clothes.

Mel Morris, the owner of Derby’s ground, seems to be ready to let them go to the wall by the millions he wants for the ground and the local council is more interested in their junkets and political spending gestures then buying it — and leasing it back.

I doubt it will last with Kirchner at the helm anyway. If he has little or no money now, how will they operate?
