LETTER: Time to support Yorkshire’s Fairtrade businesses
FAIRTRADE Fortnight which runs from February 27 to March 12 is an excellent reminder to join Yorkshire’s 40 Fairtrade cities, towns and villages to support Fairtrade.
The theme of this year’s campaign is “It’s Time to Put Fairtrade into Your Break” and with more than 4500 Fairtrade marked products available ranging from sugar, tea, coffee and chocolate it couldn’t be easier to make your tea break more ethical!
Buying Fairtrade not only means good quality products but it also guarantees fairer prices and working conditions for farmers and producers in the developing world.
