LETTER: Stick to the rules of the road
THE road on which we live forms a type of circuit or oval with two other roads, and some irresponsible people seem to think it’s Brands Hatch or Silverstone!
On Thursday August 29 a number of bad, dangerous drivers were using it exactly like a race track, despite the fact that there are two blind corners.
A number of these idiots were driving at very high speeds and then braking, in a suburban area where children were playing shortly before.
It doesn’t bare thinking about what might have happened.
Other neighbours also deplored this behaviour.
It’s time that the laws of the land and the Highway Code were adhered to.
