Happy St Valentine's Day

HAPPY St Valentine’s Day to all our Record readers—I do hope 2011 is treating you well.

I’ve got a few fund-raising events to share with you this week just in case you are looking for fun things to fill your diaries with.

If you are a dedicated follower of fashion, but can’t afford designer prices, then The Rotherham Hospice may have a treat in store for you.

A Swish and Style Evening has been organised to give glamorous folk the chance to shop and swap for charity.

The event will take place from 7pm until 10pm at The Carlton Park Hotel, Moorgate, Rotherham on March 3.

Swishing is a form of clothes swapping and gives you the chance to bag a bargain and spring clean your wardrobe while raising money for a worthy cause—sounds like a grand idea to me.

Supporters are invited to bring up to three garments of clothing or accessories in good condition, clean and on hangers to swap at party.
