Free schools "an attack on unions"

Sir, Regarding another "free school" for Maltby, to put it in laymen's terms it is a direct attack to curtail unions from schools.

Mrs Adams (NUT) asks for councillors to stand up and say no.

Didn't Mrs Adams read the election results in Rotherham, LABOUR WON. so that means Labour won't be supporting the National Union of Teachers.

Let's not forget LABOUR introduced the academies bill. Labour put the thin end of the wedge in the door and now the Tories will rip it open.

In a free market economy, unions MUST be curtailed, market forces will determine wage levels and working conditions, not unions.

Unfortunately the only candidate who stood against this free market nonsense was me.

I came last, so sorry Mrs Adams, Maltby can't help you.

Michael Conlon, School Walk, Maltby.
