Car park needed
Car Parks Close (Greasbrough Road Parkgate) Page 5 of this week's Advertiser a very small item of news you may think, but I feel that the closure of this car park will impact on this area of Parkgate.
Why the council in their wisdom say it is surplus to requirements is quite puzzling. It is used every day, twice a day during school term time and is always full at these times, as is all the streets adjecent to the school.
I have no problem with anyone parking and walking their children to school because most of them have to dash off to work themselves. To close the car park will cause many, many problems for the Mums and Dads and perhaps make the walk to school for the children more hazardous Please Rotherham Borough Council Think again!
