With Bonfire Night just about in the rear-view mirror, many people are beginning to turn their thoughts toward the upcoming holiday season.

Christmas, which as always, falls on December 25, is just around the corner, and raises an important question for shoppers: how many shopping days are left until Christmas 2024?

To determine this, we need to calculate the number of days from the current dates (which, at the time of writing, is November 5).

The entire month offers 30 shopping days from November 1 to November 30, giving shoppers a full month to prepare and purchase gifts, decorations and festive supplies. But with four of them having already elapsed, that means there are 26 left.

After November, we head into December, which provides more opportunities for gift buying. December has 25 days leading up to Christmas, but we must consider that the last shopping day for many people is often Christmas Eve - December 24.

Thus, the shopping days in December include 24 shopping days from December 1 to December 24.
