Bus drivers wanted! Your chance to get behind the wheel at free open event
Stagecoach Yorkshire is offering the public the chance to do just that on Saturday.

Hide AdDriving instructors will be at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield from 10am until 4pm, bringing with them Stagecoach’s dedicated fleet of training buses.
They will be guiding any potential recruits through the basic controls and watching over them whilst they try out driving the bus around the car park with no past bus driving experience needed.
Members of staff from the Holbrook depot will also be on-site at the free open event to give details of what life is really like as a bus driver and to answer any questions.

Anyone that has held their car licence for over six months could start a new career as a bus driver.
Bill McCartney, operations director for Stagecoach Yorkshire said: “We’re really excited for our Drive a Bus event where we're encouraging people to live their childhood dream, or just see how it feels to drive a bus in a safe way.
