Beast of a panto show

Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham is set to welcome Cinderella for a series of shows across ten dates this festive season.

The enchanting pantomime, which will run on selected dates throughout December and into January 2024, will feature on-screen performances from Mark “The Beast” Labbett – best known for his appearances on ITV quiz show ‘The Chase’.

Mark moved to Rotherham ten years ago because when he is not on our screens as a TV personality, he works for the world's biggest pub quiz company Redtooth, which is based in Barlbrough.

A former maths teacher, he became interested in quizzes after winning cash in them and has since appeared on Mastermind, University Challenge, Fifteen to One, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?, Only Connect and The Chase in the US.

Audiences wishing to see him in panto at Gulliver's Valley can choose from three packages, from ticket only through to options that include theme park entry and a two-course meal served during the show.

Andy Flowers, resort manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “We’re all really excited to be putting on our first ever panto at Gulliver’s Valley this Christmas, with Cinderella.

“It’s the perfect way to celebrate the festivities with all the family and make magical memories together – we’re sure audiences will have an absolute ball!”

The pantomime begins on December 9, running on selected dates throughout the Christmas period, before the final performance on January 6 2024.

Tickets start from £15 per person, with accommodation options also available at the resort.
