ROTHERHAM Hospice hailed Rotherham United for their "unbelievable support" after the Millers gave the charity’s name pride of place on next season’s kit.

Matt Taylor’s men will play in a familiar red-and-white strip with a twist, with the space usually given over to a sponsor’s name and logo filled with the words “Rotherham Hospice” and the sunflower motif.

The prominent spot for the much-loved charity was arranged by the club securing the backing of a band of “diamond partner” sponsors who were happy to let the hospice take the spotlight.
