Woman injured after lorry crash in Swinton

The 45-year-old was involved in a collision on Church Street, close to the Robin Hood Inn pub, around 9.46am yesterday.

A WOMAN was fortunate to escape with minor injuries after a lorry collided with her car in Swinton.

Emergency services were at the scene to assist the woman who was taken to hospital.

Police have said her condition was not life-threatening or life-altering.

Church Street was closed for over three hours while the recovery of the vehicles took place with multiple diversions in place.

The road was eventually reopened again at 1.26pm.
