Two deliberate fires overnight in Rotherham

Crews from Rotherham station put out a bush fire on Centenary Way, Canklow, around 8.35pm.

They extinguished the fire within 15 minutes which was thought to be deliberate.

Firefighters tackled a rubbish fire at 3.25am this morning on Ellis Street, Brinsworth.

It took over an hour for crews to put out the fire.

They left the scene at 4.50am and the fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
