Shoe store promises giveaways to hundreds of customers after opening at Parkgate

The footwear retailer opened its doors yesterday in a unit it said had undergone a £475,000 transformation.

A spokesperson said it would create new jobs - although they did not state how many- in manager positions, shop floor and cashier roles. 

They’re offering free shoes for the first 25 customers tomorrow plus limited edition bags for the first 500 and other discounts and giveaways.

Deichmann's in the third opening at Parkgate this year following Poundland's move into bigger premises in the former M&S unit and the arrival of the Popeye's diner.

The chain is Europe’s largest shoe retailer at over 100 years old, with stores in 31 countries.
