Parkgate van fire started deliberately
A VAN containing rolls of carpet was torched by arsonists in Parkgate last night (Thursday).
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to Beale Way at 1.56am where a Mercedes Sprinter was well alight, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
They used a hose reel jet to put out the deliberate fire and left at 2.47am, they added.
