AN OVERTURNED vehicle is causing traffic congestion on the M18 in Rotherham this lunchtime.

AN OVERTURNED vehicle is causing traffic congestion on the northbound M18 in Rotherham this lunchtime.

Officers from South Yorkshire Police's operational support unit have been on the scene between junctions 1 and 2 - and a spokesperson said two lanes were now up and running on the motorway after a road traffic collision caused a vehicle to overturn.

Police said there had been no serious injuries in the incident but warned motorists could experienece delays in the area.
