Occupant rescued from fire after cooking related accident
Crews were called to Winterwell Road, West Melton, at 2.05am on Saturday (February 18) after receiving reports of a fire within the property.
A fire service spokesperson said they had used a ladder to rescue an occupant through the window.

Hide AdThey said the fire had been started accidentally due to cooking.
The crew left the scene at 3.20am.
Fire crews also intervened when a deliberate motorbike blaze was reported at 7.55pm on Friday on Neville Close, Wombwell.
The crew left the scene 25 minutes later.
A wheelie bin was also set alight at 6.20am today (February 20) on King Street, Hoyland, and another bin was reported as on fire at 7.30am in Stonegate Mews, Balby.
