A murder investigation was launched in June after Mr Lee was found dead on Herringthorpe Valley Road (above).

A spokesperson said: “Initial enquiries also led to information being provided to officers that he had been stabbed and a post mortem examination concluded that Mr Lee died from a stab wound.

“Enquiries remain ongoing into the circumstances surrounding Mr Lee's death and a number of people remain released under investigation.

“Officers remain interested in hearing from anyone who is yet to come forward with information about the events of Sunday, June 26.”
