Man (39) injured in second town centre stabbing in under 24 hours
A MAN has been seriously injured following a second town centre stabbing in Rotherham within 24 hours - and police believe the two incidents are linked.
Police were called to Spring Walk near the town centre at 11.15am today after reports that a man had been stabbed.

Hide AdThis incident comes just 18 hours after a 30-year-old man was also stabbed in High Street.
Emergency services attended the scene on Spring Walk and a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance with stab wounds, said a police spokeswoman.
"He remains in hospital in a serious condition," she added.
Police have confirmed that officers do believe the two incidents are linked.
"Officers continue to carry out enquiries into both incidents to establish the exact circumstances," the spokeswoman said.

Hide AdPolice are still at the scene at Spring Walk as they carry out further enquiries.
The spokeswoman said officers were keen to speak to anyone with information on what happened regarding both incidents.
