Forecasters: "Widespread travel disruption likely" as Storm Doris approaches
GALE force winds could cause travel disruption today (Wednesday) as Storm Doris bears down on the UK.
Gusts of up to 80mph have been forecast for parts of Rotherham through Wednesday and Thursday, with “widespread disruption to travel expected”.
Heavy rain is also expected on Thursday with snow possible over high ground as the storm clears eastwards.
