Disused town centre garage attacked

A DISUSED garage in Rotherham town centre was targeted by arsonists yesterday (Sunday).

A crew from Rotherham station was called to Doncaster Road at 6pm, when the window ledge of the building was alight.

The crew left the scene around 20 minutes later. The fire was started deliberately, said a fire service spokeswoman.
