Crews called to a number of fire-related incidents over the weekend

Firefighters were called out to High Nook Road, Dinnington, where a consumer unit was on fire on Saturday night

FIRE crews were called to a host of incidents over the weekend involving a commercial unit, a car and a dishwasher.

Two teams were called out to an address on Cooperative Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley at 7.55pm on Friday.

The porch area of the property had been deliberately set on fire, crews said. 

They left the scene at 9.05pm.

Fire crews from Aston, Maltby and Rotherham stations were called out to High Nook Road, Dinnington, where a consumer unit was on fire, at 10.50pm on Saturday.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally. 

Firefighters left the scene one hour and 25 minutes later. 

Crews attended an accidental fire involving a dishwasher at an address on Hanbury Close in Balby at 12.25pm on Saturday.

They came away at 2.10pm.

Firefighters attended an accidental fire involving a vehicle on the M1 between junctions 35 and 36 southbound in the early hours of Sunday.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 6.25am on Sunday (March 19) in the Anderson Drive area of Rawmarsh. 

The crew came away 40 minutes later. 

Firefighters were sent to a the scene of deliberate fire involving rubbish on Cowper Road, Mexborough at 11.30pm on Sunday and were there until an hour later.

They left the scene over an hour later.
