Car torched in Hooton Roberts

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to the fire on Howdike Lane just after midnight.

A spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the vehicle was completely destroyed and crews left at 12.38am.

"The car had been set alight deliberately," she added.
