Arctic blast to bring wintry showers
WINTRY showers could fall across parts of Rotherham this week as a cold spell sweeps in.
The Met Office said a mixture of rain, sleet and hail would fall across the borough.
Forecasters said wintry showers were also likely on higher ground with temperatures dropping as low as -2°C overnight.
A spokesman said: “Morning rain will clear by midday on Monday, then brighter with sunny spells, but turning colder with wintry showers by evening, falling as snow above 300m later.”
