Age UK Rotherham appeals for public help to scoop £5,000 windfall

A CHARITY helping the elderly in Rotherham is in the running for a £5,000 windfall – but needs your help to get their bid over the line.

Age UK Rotherham is appealing to supporters to nominate them for a chance to win one of ten £5,000 special grants as part of Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards.

You can back the charity online until this Friday at www.health.movementforgood.com.

Winners will be drawn at random and the more times a charity is nominated, the more chance it has of being selected.

Age UK Rotherham said it would spend any winnings in Rotherham area helping to make the lives of older people as fulfilling and rewarding as possible.

Awards of £1,000 are open to all UK-registered charities.

Anyone can nominate a registered charity at any time for the chance to receive £1,000.
