Two Rotherham women compete in Miss Yorkshire final

Mia Risco and Izzy Fowler will join Doncaster’s Shannon Clifton on stage in the final on Sunday October 1.

They will battle it out at the Earl of Doncaster hotel event event to succeed current Miss Yorkshire Milly Hinchcliffe of Leeds.

Former GB figure skater 18-year-old Mia lists her hobbies as trapeze and dance, and has taken part in Bollywood performances. She says she would love to work in the arts industry and is planning on studying film, TV and radio.

Izzy has been playing golf since she was four and “loves glitz, glam and dressing up”.

Shannon runs her own cosmetics business and would love to have salons around the UK and to build up her own make-up brand in Dubai.

The event will include three rounds – black dress, sportswear and evening dress.
