BEER FESTIVAL: In order to raise funds to meet the increasing demand for junior rugby, Wath Rugby Club is holding a Beer Festival from the evening of March 18 to March 20. There will be the choice of over a dozen different beers and ciders over the weekend, all at competitive prices. Doors open 6pm on the Friday with Rotherham indie band The Leathernecks taking stage for the first of two performances 8pm. There will be a nominal charge of £3 for non-members and £1 for members for the evening. On March 19 the First Team entertain Leodiensian in Yorkshire League 2, kick off 3pm. The bar will be open from noon. This will be followed by England v France, 6 Nations final game live on the big screen 8pm. Junior fixtures will kick off the Sunday programme starting 11.30am. The club is at the bottom of Moor Road S63 7RT, down the side of Tesco.
