TREETON LIBRARY: The library is held at Treeton Baptist Church and is open every Tuesday 9.30am-12.30pm to exchange books and jigsaws. During school holidays Bookworms activity classes are held for children.

 

FRIENDSHIP LUNCH: The next lunch is on December 1.

 

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING: Treeton Ladies Group and Treeton Library held a joint Macmillan coffee morning at Treeton Baptist Church on September 25. £240 was raised. The Guess the Name of the Doll was won by Dianne Small and the Guess the Number of Dots on the Cake was won by Carole Robinson. Other coffee mornings were held at various venues in the village on that day.

HOUSING SURGERY: Treeton residents are invited to a drop-in session every Thursday 10.15-11.30am at Treeton Reading Rooms where they can discuss problems relating to housing, anti-social behaviour, crime and the environment. The police, RMBC, Streetpride and Cllr John Swift are usually at these sessions. If anyone has a matter to discuss in private, make this known on arrival.

 

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY: Cllr Darren Hughes of Rother Vale ward will hold a surgery every Friday 5-6pm at Treeton Community and Resource Centre.
