RAWMARSH COMMUNITY SCHOOL: The school resumes on November 2. Y11 students attended a full day of activities and sessions put in place to support their preparation towards a successful progression to the next step of their education or training. Sessions included mock interviews,  information on Higher Education courses and also an interactive panel with undergraduate students from the University of Huddersfield. There was a briefing on apprenticeships and employability skills from a local college and an activity to help them choose which course at either college or sixth form would be best suited to what they would like to do as a career and the GCSE grades that different options require.

RYECROFT INFANTS SCHOOL: Harvest festival took place on October 16. Donations of tinned foods, fresh fruit and vegetables were collected and passed to the local Salvation Army for distribution. From the recent Book Fair the school received £370 worth of commission for books to keep at school. These books have now been divided between the classes.
