RYECROFT INFANTS SCHOOL: As part of school work based around the picture Castle and Sun by Paul Klee, The Team Building Workshop Company held a special Lego workshop master class for the whole school this week. This was a hands on Science and Technology workshop which encouraged teamwork, logical thinking, creativity and practical design. Children also received a short talk from the instructor and had time to get to know the equipment, they then worked in groups to construct their own model houses at their own ability levels. These were then all put together at the end of the workshop to construct a joint model village. This was funded by school funds. Also this week Year 2 pupils have visited The Deep aquarium in Hull. School closes today for half term and resumes on Monday June 6.
